vladfun Dismisses Two Developers for Hardcoded Token Priority Manipulation
2026-07-20 09:45

Woofun AI reports that vladfun, a token issuance platform on Robinhood Chain, terminated two developers who secretly hardcoded their own tokens into the frontend during the July 15 launch. This manipulation ensured only their tokens were visible to users initially. The team detected the anomaly within two hours, removed the malicious code, and recovered approximately $15,000 in fees and earnings, equivalent to about 7.8 ETH. Evidence showed the developers attempted to blame RPC failures but had manually inserted the code in the final submission. They later requested to disable branch protection to delete traces, but timestamp backups preserved the evidence. The team stated it never authorized vladfun token issuance and will prioritize addressing affected users.
