Bitcoin Whales Diverge: Large Holders Accumulate 66,700 BTC While Medium Wallets Sell 77,800

Woofun AI data shows a distinct divergence in Bitcoin holder behavior over the past 60 days. Wallets holding between 1,000 and 10,000 BTC have accumulated a net 66,700 BTC, approaching the 68,000 BTC level recorded on June 16. Conversely, addresses holding 100 to 1,000 BTC have distributed a net 77,800 BTC, representing one of the most aggressive selling periods in recent data.

Historical patterns indicate that activity from the 100 to 1,000 BTC cohort often precedes short-term market turning points. For instance, a net inflow of over 92,000 BTC by this group on April 25 was followed by a 29% price correction within 10 days. Analyst Amr Taha notes that sustained accumulation by large entities reduces immediate supply, particularly as smaller groups distribute assets, potentially offering medium-term support for Bitcoin prices.
