Woofun AI reports that AI startup 01.ai intends to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange after the end of the 2027 fiscal year. The company plans to pursue Pre-IPO financing during its first annual performance announcement and is restructuring its offshore holding framework to satisfy specialized technology listing requirements.

Founded in 2023, 01.ai reached a valuation exceeding $1 billion within eight months following investments from entities including Alibaba Cloud. The firm has shifted its strategy from developing proprietary large language models to providing enterprise AI infrastructure services, primarily utilizing fine-tuned domestic open-source models such as DeepSeek, Alibaba Qianwen, and Zhiyu GLM. Approximately 50% of the company's current business revenue originates from overseas markets.
