AMINA Partners With Cantor To Evaluate Reverse Merger Pathways For Growth Capital
Swiss crypto bank AMINA engages Cantor to assess capital market entry via reverse merger. Prioritizing strategic growth capital, the firm explores DAT acquisition over SPAC routes amid expanded global operations.
Woofun AI reports that Swiss crypto bank AMINA is collaborating with Wall Street firm Cantor to evaluate pathways for entering capital markets. While the bank previously considered a SPAC merger, it now leans toward achieving a reverse merger through the acquisition of a Digital Asset Treasury company, though no final decision has been made.
A spokesperson stated that the current priority is securing strategic growth capital, with an IPO remaining a subsequent option. The firm confirmed there are currently no discussions with any SPACs or DATs. Regulated by Swiss FINMA, AMINA (formerly SEBA Bank) offers crypto trading, custody, staking, and lending services. Its operations have expanded to Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, and India, with Tier 1 capital reaching 74.6 million Swiss francs by the end of 2025 and total financing of approximately $245 million.
