STAR 50 Index Surges 5.91% as A-Share AI Hardware Sector Rebounds
STAR 50 Index jumps 5.91% while ChiNext rises 5.04%. Changxin hits record high with 14% gain. Storage, robotics, and computing power stocks lead the rally.
Woofun AI data shows that the A-share market opened higher on July 31st before fluctuating. By midday, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 0.76%, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 3.16%. The ChiNext Index gained 5.04%, the SSE 50 rose by 3.4%, and the STAR 50 Index climbed by 5.91%.
Changxin breached the ¥4 trillion mark intraday, rising over 14% to ¥60.49 to set a new all-time high. In sector performance, storage chip stocks opened higher with Unigroup Guoxin, Will Semiconductor, Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment, and South Asia New Material each gaining more than 10%. Robotics concepts surged with Zhongda Lide and Techlong hitting daily limits, while computing power leasing stocks including MicroBT, Yunzhitong, HJ Tech, and Liton also reached daily limit rises.
