Woofun AI reports that AI voice generation startup Fish Audio has finalized a $52 million seed financing round. Coreline Ventures and Capital Today led the investment, with participation from 359 Capital, Parable, Play Time, and other institutions.
The company was established by former Nvidia researcher Shijia Liao, who developed an open-source voice generation model on a single GPU to address limited expressiveness in existing AI speech. Over the past year, Fish Audio has launched five models, comprising four voice generation systems and one speech-to-text tool.
