Woofun AI reports that Index Ventures has closed a $2 billion fundraising round, bringing its total investable assets to $3.5 billion. The capital raise comprises a $400 million seed fund, a $900 million early-stage venture fund, and a $700 million addition to its growth fund, which now stands at $2.2 billion.
The firm intends to deploy these resources across Europe, Israel, and the United States, supporting founders from initial financing through IPO and beyond. Artificial intelligence remains the primary investment thesis, with existing portfolio holdings including Mistral, Cohere, and Ineffable Intelligence. Recent portfolio milestones, such as Google’s $32 billion acquisition of Wiz, Figma’s IPO, and Revolut’s $115 billion valuation event, underpin the firm’s fundraising success.
