Linux Foundation Releases Consultation Draft of Shared AI Discovery Exchange Guidelines
Linux Foundation publishes SAFE guidelines draft to transform agentic AI security incidents into shared ecosystem defenses, backed by 120+ alliance members.
Woofun AI reports that the Linux Foundation released a consultation draft of the "Shared AI Discovery Exchange Guidelines" (SAFE) today. Developed by the Open Secure AI Alliance working group, the proposal aims to convert cybersecurity incidents in agentic AI into shared defensive capabilities across the ecosystem. The alliance comprises over 120 member organizations, including NVIDIA, Cisco Systems, CrowdStrike, Hugging Face, and Red Hat. The guidelines recommend confidentially collecting and analyzing AI security incidents and "near-miss events", notifying affected stakeholders, identifying recurring security control failures, and publishing evidence-based operational recommendations to reduce systemic risk.
