TMTG Terminates CRO Treasury and Prediction Market Deals with Crypto.com

Trump Media Group ends CRO strategy and Truth Social integration with Crypto.com, citing market saturation and a strategic pivot to media and data services.

Woofun AI reports that Trump Media & Technology Group has terminated its CRO treasury strategy and prediction market integration plans with Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition Corp. Interim CEO Kevin McGurn stated the company is refocusing on media operations and potential merger discussions with fusion energy firm TAE, noting that the digital asset treasury market has become saturated. The parties cited 'changes in the current market environment as well as adjustments to business and stakeholder priorities' for the decision.

TMTG will no longer pursue becoming a publicly traded CRO treasury company or integrating prediction markets directly into Truth Social. Instead, the company will promote Crypto.com's products through marketing collaborations. McGurn emphasized that TMTG is better positioned as a data and traffic distribution platform rather than an operator of underlying financial products. Truth Social's data API service now serves approximately 10 clients, including high-frequency trading firms utilizing social media data for algorithmic trading.

The company also intends to explore licensing data to large AI model developers and prediction market platforms.
