Founded in 2023, the company specializes in real-time video generation models, employs approximately 100 staff, and has secured roughly $450 million in total funding, including a recent $300 million round at a $4 billion valuation.

While initial negotiations focused on NVIDIA, the emergence of other suitors shifted the dynamic, with industry speculation pointing to SpaceX, Amazon, and Nebius as interested parties. Elon Musk has maintained regular contact with Co-Founder Dean Leitersdorf since 2024, following his experience with the Oasis game built on Decart's technology. A deal with SpaceX would mark its first R&D center in Israel, adding to its AI infrastructure portfolio after the $600 million acquisition of Cursor.
