Safe Q2 Volume Hits Record High with 54.8M SAFE Staked on Safenet Beta

Safe processed 130M transactions in Q2 2026, a new high. Safenet Beta launched with 54.8M SAFE staked. Foundation yield beats benchmark by 250bps.

Woofun AI reports that the Safe ecosystem foundation released its second-quarter 2026 report, revealing that smart accounts processed nearly 130 million transactions. This marks the second consecutive quarter of record highs, with April being the busiest month ever at 55.4 million transactions. Active accounts reached 2.73 million in June, while total accounts surpassed 63 million, a 20% year-on-year increase. Despite significant cryptocurrency price drops in June, active account numbers continued to rise, and ETH settlement transfers hit a quarterly high.

Safenet Beta officially launched at the EthCC Cannes conference on April 2, operated by six founding validators. By quarter-end, 54.8 million SAFE tokens were staked across 539 addresses, completing 455,646 transaction inspections, with Ethereum and Arbitrum accounting for 94%. SafeDAO supported this via SEP-55, contributing 5 million SAFE tokens. Following the Kelp DAO exploitation in April, DeFi United coordinated $300 million through 142,000+ Safe wallets to restore rsETH staking support. The foundation's portfolio yielded 5.5%-5.75% annually, beating the benchmark by 250 basis points, with $14 million deployed across 14 positions, including new RWA and fixed-income assets.
