Zhipu API Users Surge to 7M as 50K Domestic Chips Deployed

Zhipu MaaS platform reaches 7M users with 23K enterprise clients, deploying 50K domestic AI chips to support inference demand amid rapid ARR growth.

Woofun AI reports that Zhipu's MaaS open platform has reached nearly 7 million registered users, including 23,000 enterprise clients, marking an increase of approximately 2 million since early July. The developer product ZCode surpassed 1 million users within one month of its launch. To address rising model invocation demands, Zhipu has deployed over 50,000 domestically produced AI chips for inference tasks. The company's annual recurring revenue (ARR) has grown roughly 15 times this year, with industry estimates suggesting current ARR could reach $2 billion, though this remains unconfirmed. Zhipu continues to optimize inference efficiency through KV cache segmentation and improved network architectures. In July, the company introduced a high-speed API version generating 400 tokens per second, eight times faster than standard APIs, and adjusted pricing for its Coding Plan, raising the Lite monthly fee to 118 yuan.
