This milestone makes Gemini the 14th Google product to achieve this scale, with user counts rising from 750 million in February to 950 million by July before crossing the threshold. Usage metrics indicate that 63% of interactions occur via voice, while one in five Gemini Live sessions involves camera or screen sharing.

Additionally, active iOS users surpass 100 million, and the platform generates over 150 million images daily. While ChatGPT reportedly reached 1 billion monthly active users in May, Gemini now occupies the same user base category.
