Alibaba Launches HappyShrimp 1.0 AI Music Model for One-Sentence Song Generation

Alibaba releases HappyShrimp 1.0, an end-to-end AI model generating full songs from single sentences. The platform launches with Taihe Music partnership, offering free credits to new users.

Woofun AI reports that Alibaba has officially released HappyShrimp 1.0, an AI music model capable of composing complete songs from a single sentence input. The system handles lyrics, composition, arrangement, and vocals simultaneously through end-to-end generation, aiming to resolve issues like robotic vocals and structural inconsistencies. Users can specify emotions or stories, with optional control over BPM, key, and vocal style, while the model autonomously determines instrumentation and structure.

Alibaba also launched the corresponding HappyShrimp platform, allowing users to create, share, and listen to AI-generated music. Web versions are now accessible in China and overseas, with a standalone app under development. A partnership with Taihe Music Group provides new users with free points to access the service.
