NVIDIA has established a maximum guarantee of $105 billion for this stage, down from earlier discussions of $250 billion, which covers potential shortfalls if OpenAI defaults on rent or faces bankruptcy. The funds are not direct capital injections; NVIDIA assumes risk only for specific operational gaps and expects repayment for any advanced amounts.

Additionally, NVIDIA is investing $1.5 billion in developer SB Energy, with the facility designed to utilize NVIDIA's AI infrastructure. Jensen Huang stated that each system generation could deploy approximately 1.5 million GPUs, potentially generating $150 billion to $200 billion in revenue. Addressing concerns about 'recycling financing,' Huang clarified that NVIDIA's liability is limited to rent, electricity, and asset residual values, rather than assuming full project responsibility.
