Woofun AI reports that token issuance platform Printr has initiated shutdown procedures, with all operations scheduled to cease by August 31, 2026. The team cited a lack of necessary capital and distribution support in the current market as the primary reason for the closure, noting that efforts to find a sustainable solution over the past three months have failed. Starting August 18, 2026, all on-chain staking positions and associated fees will be automatically unstaked and returned to original wallet addresses, after which the staking function will be suspended. Users who do not receive their assets by August 20 are advised to contact the team via Discord before the final deadline. No new token generation events or airdrops will occur following the shutdown. After August 31, the Printr application interface will go offline, preventing any further token issuance through the platform.

However, tokens previously issued by Printr remain independent on-chain assets, not owned or controlled by the team, and will continue to exist on their respective chains.
