Record $1.31B Revenue Masks 38% Crypto Revenue Slide for Robinhood

Financial performance surged on Wednesday, with total revenue climbing 32% year over year to $1.31 billion, while net income jumped 48% to $573 million. Conversely, cryptocurrency transaction revenue contracted to $100 million from approximately $160 million a year earlier.

Woofun AI data shows crypto trading volume reached $40 billion during the quarter, split between $18 billion on the Robinhood app and $22 billion from Bitstamp, the exchange acquired in June 2025.

Strategic expansion accelerated through the launch of the Robinhood Chain public mainnet and the introduction of tokenized US stocks to users in more than 120 countries. The firm also debuted Robinhood Earn, its first decentralized lending product, and completed the acquisition of Canadian crypto platform WonderFi. Plans to expand crypto offerings in the United Kingdom were announced alongside data showing nearly 100,000 customer accounts enrolled in Agentic Trading, representing over $100 million in assets under custody.

Market sentiment remained cautious despite the strong financials, as Robinhood shares fell 3.15% on Wednesday ahead of the earnings release. This reaction suggests investors are weighing the immediate profit growth against the structural weakness in core crypto transaction fees.
