Bithumb Q2 Profit Slumps 44% as Capital Flees Crypto for AI Stocks

Financial metrics for the period ending June 30 reveal an operating profit of 12.1 billion won ($9 million), a sharp contraction from the 21.5 billion won posted a year prior. Revenue simultaneously fell 35.8% to 86.3 billion won from 134.4 billion won. The bottom line swung to a net loss of 21.8 billion won, reversing a net profit of 22.0 billion won in the same period last year.
