Woofun AI reports that ArmorX stock increased by 2.97% intraday, contrasting with a 0.53% drop in the Nikkei 225 Index. The company announced the KIOXIA GP1, its first solid-state drive in the GP series enabled with GPU Direct Access to Flash, achieving 100M IOPS random read performance.
ArmorX stated that the KIOXIA GP1 series is designed to integrate high-speed flash media into the VRAM system of emerging AI storage architectures. This configuration allows AI systems to access larger datasets at a lower cost compared to adding HBM, while simultaneously increasing GPU utilization.
