The model demonstrated significant gains in Agent capabilities and long-context handling, with Terminal-Bench v2.1 performance rising from 12% to 57% and GDPval-AA v2 scores climbing from 498 to 1277 Elo. Despite these improvements, Solar Pro 4 trails DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731, which scored 52 points and delivers nearly double the generation speed at 122 tokens per second versus 65. Pricing disparities remain substantial, as Solar Pro 4 charges $0.30 for input and $1.20 for output per million tokens, compared to DeepSeek's $0.14 and $0.28 rates respectively.
