The best advice I've gotten about building technology is from Paul Graham: make good, new things. Good but not new someone else will. New but not good is a demo. At Arcus we're striving to do both - bring new people into crypto by building a product that doesn't exist + provides value to them.

The thing that surprised me moving from consumer tech to crypto, is how proud this industry is of being hard to use. In consumer tech, confusion is a bug you fix at 2am. In crypto, it gets treated as a filter - if you can't figure it out, you weren't meant to be here. The way I see it, that's not a moat. It's a ceiling.
