Alibaba Cloud Cuts AIDC Delivery to 100 Days, Costs Drop 10%

Modular architecture slashes deployment time from 6-18 months to 100 days with 10% cost reduction. Capacity tripled this year to support AI infrastructure expansion.

Woofun AI reports that Alibaba Cloud has reduced the delivery timeline for large-scale modular AIDC data centers to 100 days, a significant decrease from the traditional 6 to 12 months in China and 12 to 18 months in the United States. This architectural shift also lowers overall construction costs by more than 10%.

The company intends to triple its global production capacity for these modular units within the current year. The design facilitates parallel workflows, where components are factory-manufactured and pre-adjusted in containers before on-site assembly, addressing the rapid expansion requirements of AI computing infrastructure.
