Woofun AI reports that OpenAI will construct and operate an artificial intelligence facility at PORTS-Pike, utilizing NVIDIA's end-to-end DSX AI factory platform comprising GPUs, CPUs, networking, and infrastructure software. The initial deployment is set to provide 4.25 gigawatts of AI manufacturing capacity, with each generation equivalent to roughly 1.5 million NVIDIA GPUs, representing approximately $150 billion to $200 billion in NVIDIA revenue.

Over a 20-year development period, the site will support multiple upgrade cycles, with NVIDIA potentially expanding capacity beyond the initial 4.25 gigawatts to add 3.75 gigawatts. OpenAI has committed to deploying large-scale NVIDIA AI infrastructure by 2030, with current and planned commitments totaling roughly 12 gigawatts of computing power, potentially rising to 16 gigawatts if PORTS-Pike expands. NVIDIA estimates this scale could generate approximately $600 billion in computing revenue by 2030.
