Jensen Huang Launches Open Secure AI Alliance With 15 Major Tech Partners

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced the Open Secure AI Alliance to unite global tech firms in developing security tools for AI software and agents, citing recent Hugging Face breach lessons.

Woofun AI reports that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced the formation of the "Open Secure AI Alliance" via a post on X. The initiative aims to unite global technology companies to jointly develop security technologies and tools designed to protect AI software and AI Agents.

Huang emphasized that attackers already possess cutting-edge AI capabilities, necessitating a defense ecosystem driven by the global community that combines open-source and closed-source model advantages. He cited the previous Hugging Face security incident, noting that closed-source limitations hindered forensic work while open-weight models aided containment, as the primary motivation for the alliance. NVIDIA stated the group will collaborate with partners including Adobe, Microsoft, Hugging Face, IBM, NVIDIA, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Databricks, Palantir, Red Hat, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, SpaceX, and SK Telecom to advance AI security defenses.
