The initiative aims to strengthen national supply chains and reinforce America's leadership in artificial intelligence, particularly regarding open-source advancements.
Huang’s Washington visit also includes meetings with Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner and other bipartisan congressional members.
Concurrently, the Trump administration is finalizing a framework requiring advanced AI models to provide early government access prior to release, while evaluating policy positions on open-source AI.
