He disclosed during a conference call that the number of Microsoft clients utilizing multiple models has quadrupled since the start of the year. Nadella argued that system frameworks must remain separate from models to allow for immediate replacement and integration of cutting-edge technologies. Microsoft maintains investments in both OpenAI and Anthropic and has co-signed an open letter supporting open models alongside NVIDIA and Palantir.
