Ebisu Protocol Winding Down, Frontend Deactivation Scheduled for October 30
High-yield stablecoin protocol Ebisu halts operations due to insufficient liquidity. Users must withdraw assets by Oct 30; no token launch or airdrops planned.
Woofun AI reports that the high-yield stablecoin protocol Ebisu is initiating a gradual wind-down, with its frontend scheduled for deactivation on October 30. Users are required to close vaults, withdraw Stability Pool deposits, and remove ebUSD DEX liquidity prior to this deadline. The minting of ebUSD has already been suspended. The team cited an inability to scale ebUSD liquidity sufficiently to support meaningful borrowing activity, despite attempts involving instant liquidations, multi-chain collateral, and structured vaults. Ebisu confirmed that the EBISU token will not be launched, and no airdrops will be distributed to xEBISU or BOLD holders. xEBISU holds no monetary value and is not redeemable.
