Woofun AI reports that Alexandr Wang, founder of Scale AI and head of Meta's Superintelligence Lab, stated at a Y Combinator event that artificial intelligence has significantly narrowed the power disparity between startups and established corporations. Wang contrasted the 2016 landscape, where startups faced giants like "David against Goliath," with the current era driven by AI agent technology, which he described as "Goliath against Goliath." He argued that startups applying AI agents ambitiously can overcome incumbents' advantages. Wang joined Meta following a $14.3 billion agreement between the companies last June. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also spoke at the event, noting that "there has never been a better time to start a business."
