Samsung SDS Partners With Dunamu To Build Stablecoin Infrastructure And AI Payment Systems

Woofun AI reports that Samsung SDS has entered a collaboration with Dunamu to develop stablecoin infrastructure and AI-driven payment solutions. The partnership aims to combine Dunamu’s blockchain operational experience with Samsung SDS’s strengths in IT services, cloud computing, and security to enhance digital financial infrastructure. CEO Lee Jun-hee characterized the equity investment as a strategic entry into digital asset infrastructure rather than a purely financial move.
Samsung SDS reported Q2 revenue of 3.7178 trillion Korean won, up 5.9% year-on-year, with operating profit rising 0.7% to 231.8 billion Korean won. Cloud revenue grew 17% to 779.4 billion Korean won. The company plans to expand AI infrastructure capacity from 110 megawatts to over 230 megawatts by 2029 and exceed 800 megawatts by 2031.
