Woofun AI reports that Alibaba has designated "AI Office" as a core strategic direction within its artificial intelligence initiatives. The former Enterprise IM Business Unit has been restructured into the Thousand-Answers Office Business Unit, operating as a first-level entity under the ATH Business Group and led by Eric Chen.

This new unit oversees both the Thousand-Answers Office and DingTalk platforms. The strategic objective focuses on embedding AI into enterprise organizations by integrating messaging, approvals, documents, databases, and workflows, rather than developing standalone personal assistants.
