Genspark Launches Free Open-Source AI Office Suite for Mac and Windows

Woofun AI reports that Genspark has released GenOffice Alpha, a native office suite compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. The application supports documents, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and PDFs, embedding AI-driven writing, data analysis, and presentation generation directly within the editing interface.

The software operates as a free, ad-free, and open-source product. Users access AI features via credits on the Genspark platform or by integrating external models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek through compatible APIs. Genspark noted that the Alpha version was developed by a single engineer in one week, incurring approximately $10,000 in AI token costs.
