SpaceX Q2 Revenue Surges 13% While Bitcoin Holdings Drop 33%
SpaceX posts $7.8B revenue, beating estimates, but faces $540M unrealized loss on BTC holdings as price falls 33% in Q2.
Woofun AI reports that SpaceX delivered its inaugural quarterly earnings following its public listing, recording $7.8 billion in second-quarter revenue, which exceeded the $6.9 billion consensus estimate. The company’s net loss contracted to $541 million, while adjusted EBITDA climbed to $3.5 billion, nearly tripling year-over-year. SEC disclosures indicate SpaceX holds 18,712 Bitcoin. A 33% decline in Bitcoin prices during the quarter reduced the portfolio value from $1.64 billion at the end of 2025 to $1.1 billion, generating an unrealized loss of approximately $541 million. Capital expenditures totaled $18.4 billion, largely directed toward AI infrastructure. Following the release, roughly 912 million shares held by employees and early investors became eligible for sale. SPCX shares fell 6% to $118 in after-hours trading before recovering with a nearly 10% gain during regular hours.
