i just hit 500,000 FOLLOWERS on FOMO

according to the FOMO team, i'm officially the first person ever to hit this milestone

and it took me just a little over 3 months after joining

the crazy part?

the growth was almost entirely organic

i've spent a lot of time thinking about why i've been able to outperform like this

and honestly, i think there are a few principles behind it that are far more important than the individual trades

i'm sharing them in hopes they benefit you!

1. ANTICIPATE TREND SHIFTS

the biggest money is made when you position before everyone else realizes the trend has changed

i anticipated Robinhood becoming a dominant chain and expected its leading launchpad to be one of the biggest beneficiaries

that led me to ethereum:0x07f5b6823751c2e2cd4560f28af75ff887102241

i'm currently up 11,108% / ~$7.5 MILLION on that single position

i saw a similar setup developing on BNB and positioned into $MARSCOIN as the flagship beneficiary of the meme/stock meta there

the same framework led me to $BASECAT on Base and solana:Dz9mQ9NzkBcCsuGPFJ3r1bS4wgqKMHBPiVuniW8Mbonk on Solana

don't ask:

'what is pumping right now?'

ask:

'where is attention going next, and what becomes the biggest beneficiary if i'm right?'

that's where the asymmetric opportunities are

2. DIVERSIFY YOUR THESIS, NOT YOUR CONVICTION

diversification doesn't mean randomly throwing darts at 100 different coins

it means forming a thesis about where attention is going to concentrate, identifying the asset most likely to capture that attention, and then expressing the thesis across multiple ecosystems

3. BUILD A NETWORK OF SMART TRENCHERS

i didn't find these trades alone

a huge portion of my edge comes from being constantly connected to people in the trenches

alpha chats

friends sending narratives

scouring X

asking other traders what they're watching

researching interesting tokens the moment they come across my radar

one of the best pieces of advice i can give anyone trying to make it onchain:

build a network of smart people

find good trench chats

bounce ideas around

share alpha

challenge each other's theses

you want to be surrounded by smart people who are locked in 24/7

4. ACCEPT THE COST OF THE OPPORTUNITY

i'd love to tell you i'm doing all of this while working 4 hours a day and getting 8 hours of sleep every night

that would sound cooler

but it would also be a lie.

i've spent much of the past few weeks barely sleeping and have sacrificed a significant amount of my social life

is that extreme?

absolutely.

but i believe there is a limited window to capitalize on the most explosive part of this bull market

i'd rather maximize that window now and earn the freedom to do everything i'm missing later when the market cools down

5. REMOVE SENTIMENT FROM YOUR TRADING

this one took me the longest to learn

i used to be a very sentimental trader

for example, i stopped buying PumpFun coins during the BonkFun vs PumpFun launchpad wars last year because of my personal bias

in hindsight, that was foolish

your first objective as a trader is simple:

make money.

the moment you become emotionally attached to a chain, platform, founder, ecosystem, community, or narrative, you've voluntarily eliminated potential winners from your universe

that can cost you a generational trade

that's why i was willing to size into $BASECAT despite having a terrible opinion of Base for a long time

and it's why i was willing to size into Robinhood despite being heavily exposed to Solana previously

i didn't let my existing biases prevent me from recognizing where the next wave of attention could go

while Solana maxis insisted Solana was the only chain capable of producing major runners, i was positioning into Robinhood early

the market doesn't care what you believe

it rewards you for being right.

i know this is a long post

but i wanted to include the actual lessons behind the numbers instead of simply posting '500k followers' and flexing the portfolio

because i've repeatedly said that i believe FOMO is going to be THE platform of this cycle

i expect it to disrupt the CEX hegemony and eventually flip multiple Tier-1 CEXs as the place where retail comes to trade
