In January 2021 Robinhood deleted the “buy” button on #AMC and #GME trades and only allowed sales.
What? Why would a brokerage company do such a thing? How can markets be fair if buyers are arbitrarily not allowed to buy and sell by their broker?
I’ll explain the problem, why this happened and explain why tokenization is the solution. This is especially ironic given this weeks’ push by the CEO of AMC and his supporters against tokenization.
