According to @coingecko 2026 Q3 Crypto Industry Report, prediction market volume surged +65.6% QoQ to $189.7B, more than doubling Q1 and setting a new ATH of $79.5B in September! Key takeaways: • Kalshi captured 76.5% of total September volume after a +65.8% (+$20.8B) MoM surge, driven almost entirely by sports parlays (Exotics). • Polymarket (US) flipped its global counterpart in notional volume for the first time, taking 2nd place. • Polymarket's combined global and US market share slid from 27.7% in June to 16.4% in September as Kalshi dominated. • While Sports and Crypto still lead overall, user interest is splitting: Kalshi users lean into Financials, while Polymarket users favor Politics and Weather.
