Alex Xu@ZAGABOND · 1 天前观点输出Shops around the world are applying to host Azuki TCG tournaments. Just this week we had shops from Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Colombia, Peru... just to name a few.
Meanwhile, the team is setting up our booth at SPIEL Essen in Germany!
We've spent years building these characters and this world, with so many of you here from the beginning. Seeing shops in places I never expected want to bring Azuki to their communities means a lot.
Someone's first introduction to Azuki could be with a game at their local card shop. They can dig into it more and read the manga or rock a pfp and become part of this with us. Very excited for where we're headed.

Alex Xu@ZAGABOND · 5 天前赛道影响MRI results came back... two partial tears in the achilles I ruptured 10 years ago. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it to Germany for SPIEL Essen
This trip meant a lot to me. I lived in Germany when I was 6, obsessed with DBZ and spending hours drawing. All these years later, I was really looking forward to going back with my own original anime IP and TCG that our team has been building. Was a full circle type moment
I booked the trip for my mom too. We were gonna revisit the small town where we used to live.
So yeah it’s been a tough week. But I'm still very excited for Azuki TCG’s EU launch, and the team will be there to represent. We’re working on more international expansion too, so stay tuned.
For now I’m prioritizing rehab and health 🙏

Alex Xu@ZAGABOND · 6 天前赛道影响As I’m sitting in urgent care waiting to get an xray on my achilles, pissed off that I have to deal with this right before an international flight, an old man sitting next to me starts chatting me up
His leg is bandaged. He tells me he lives in Malibu and dealing with El Niño. and the other night a huge wave crashed into his living room while he was inside. Shattered the windows and piece of glass cut through his leg
Despite the injury his house was flooding, so he started drilling holes in the first floor to let the water drain.
At this point I’m like damn, this dude is a G. Then I remember… didn’t Malibu also get hit by the LA fires last year?
I ask him and he goes, oh yeah. He had 3 hoses going and helped stop the fire just before it reached his house. But he got burned in the process. I notice the burn marks on his face and arms
He wishes me good luck w the Achilles and walks off before I catch his name
I think I’ll be alright
