We are working with @jpmorgan to extend the concept of intra-day repo to a world with blockchain RWAs.
Our stablecoin reserves, which hold MONY, a tokenized money market fund, on @solana , can redeem these NAV $1 tMMF for fiat at JPM around the clock and use these funds to process redemptions.
This is a glimpse of what onchain finance looks with institutional adoption.

Every institution that launches a stablecoin faces a cold start problem. We faced this at Mountain Protocol and see our clients and prospects face the same issue.
“If I am a large holder on a smaller stablecoin, I might not be able to redeem immediately if I need my cash back”
For this reason, many stablecoins hold large amounts of cash, but that has credit risk, as we saw with the near miss from the SVB collapse in 2023.
Cashless Reserves is our answer to this problem. Our clients, and more importantly, the end holders of stablecoins can be comfortable that they can redeem even 100% of the stablecoin supply and that credit risk is minimized.
For our issuing name partners @ethena @tether @osldotcom @WesternUnion and all the ones coming soon, this means:
- Better returns on their stablecoin products, because cash drag is removed to ~0
- Safer product for their clients, because of no counterparty risk to banks
- Give the ability to their clients to redeem at scale, making growth easier
- Fast track process for exchanges, payment networks, etc (expect more on this soon)
