Had been looking for a simple tool to create good videos from my 360° panorama pictures.
Got suggested DaVinci Resolve (installed it, bounced off the UI) and Blender (didn’t even install). https://t.co/6djYJpwsjW is decent but you can’t set your own waypoints/zoom and the output stuttered.
So I built one in the browser instead.
Drop an equirectangular photo -> pick camera path, timing and zoom -> export a smooth video. Nothing leaves your device.

Brilliant essay. And I think the same applies for software.
We’re all prompting coding agents to ship features. Reviewers mostly check that it "works". Thousands of lines of generated code go essentially unread.
In an era of code abundance, readable modifiable and extendable code has to become the actual product, not just a byproduct. Otherwise we end up with systems no one understands deeply enough to build the next beautiful thing on top of.

Show off your skills. Show off your grind. Show off your research about the company you applied to (no, not the AI summary). Show off your attention to detail. Show off your side projects and interests.
