We don’t really have a way to measure how the muscles perform under cardio fatigue. My thesis is that once we have a good wearable that crosses cardio with muscular effort, it will be obvious that muscle under fatigue is where the gold is for longevity exercise. I’d guess that long term studies eventually confirm this.
