Person Profile
Flo is STIX’s marketing lead, operating at the front line of crypto narratives, brand visibility, and community attention. Public evidence suggests limited personal investing history, but a meaningful role in shaping how projects are perceived and discussed.
Public data is too thin for a firm investor profile; the available signals point to a narrative- and distribution-driven mindset that favors fast-moving, low-friction opportunities, with risk tolerance shaped by traction and attention.
Recent public discussion has centered on regulatory disputes, perpetuals infrastructure, stablecoin fragmentation, and institutional crypto finance, suggesting attention to the overlap between market narratives, product execution, and compliance boundaries.

flo@fran_kovacs · 2026/01/21Sector impactSome thoughts after working with big teams and small teams in web3 as a marketer. In small teams, I felt essential, while in big teams, I felt replaceable but sharper. In a small team, if you don’t pull your weight, everyone gets dragged down with you. The whole team needs to move in sync. Every action matters. You need to constantly speak your mind, and the product takes shape around those conversations. You’re listened to, which is empowering, but at the same time it can feel like running around like a headless chicken, because everything can change and you need to adapt very fast. I love working with small teams. I was surprised when, in an all-hands meeting (we were 10 people max), I was asked for product input instead of being delegated marketing actions. In a bigger company, you unfortunately don’t matter as much on an individual level. You mind your own business and do your own tasks, but everything outside your scope of work is mostly unknown. You have a clear overview of your workweek; however, every marketing mistake is under the lens 10x more. A bigger company means more eyes, more investors, and more pressure. Working with larger teams disciplines you in terms of quality of work; there’s no room for trying or testing things out you need to be precise. Bigger companies can affect you on a personal level due to the replaceable aspect; however, working with a lot of people gives you so much insight and fills in many gaps in your own knowledge. Brainstorming sessions are what I miss the most. Small teams reward speed and value your input. Big teams punish mistakes and open your viewpoint. Team size quietly decides what kind of marketer you become. I am grateful to have been part of both, built a thick skin, evolved my marketing brain, and become more outspoken.
