WOOFUN AI

Nick Almond serves as Jito’s governance lead, placing him at the center of Solana-ecosystem governance and protocol coordination. His relevance comes from shaping token governance, community alignment, and long-term protocol sustainability, which makes him a useful signal for how Jito and adjacent ecosystems may evolve

Public signals suggest a governance- and protocol-first mindset. He appears to favor structured decision-making, community coordination, and durable incentive design, with a relatively cautious risk posture and a logic centered on rules, alignment, and ecosystem resilience.

Recent public attention has centered on the Gnosis DAO treasury redemption dispute and Solana’s Switzerland-based research initiative aimed at regulatory readiness. That points to his interest in governance conflict, institutional adoption, and the evolution of compliance frameworks.

Most of these mid to low level discoveries (which would have been career defining for an academic somewhere), have just been relegated to something close to stamp collecting. Theoretical work is basically ded now.

I would say LLMs have got to about PhD level (if I was marking their work). We don't really have a rigorous intelligence measuring system beyond that. Most of these benchmarks are like recursive self improvement frameworks rather than a measure of intelligence. By how actual humans ascribe value to it, anyway. In order to get to the next level it's going to have write 3 papers a year and to go to conferences, write a book and do a tour, run a class and be liked by the students, grow old and irrelevant and stare out of your office window wondering what you've done with your life. Die in debt, wishing you'd gone into industry. But those citations.. that's what it was all about. Only true intellectual greatness can be found here. Benchmark it.

@DennisonBertram If it’s state backed yes, if it’s backed by someone else, it’s something other than that. Or if it’s just lads in a WhatsApp group that’s another thing too.

The real question here is how did this many people all decide to raid a border on the same day. Some serious coordination needed here.
