The liquidation of 130 distinct altcoins on EVM chains clearly shows stolen assets were concentrated in Ethereum tokens. Proceeds totaling $279M, mostly in ETH and USDC, indicate a systematic off-ramp rather than isolated incidents. While the volume is significant, the diversity of coins suggests attackers targeted specific protocol vulnerabilities before dumping. The sheer number of distinct tokens involved raises questions about initial access vectors across multiple contracts.

So many altcoins gone feels really risky for anyone holding small caps in EVM.
