Especially so, the older the various officials are. Policy makers, elected legislators & career regulators are a gerontocracy. Crypto has organized trade groups like @BlockchainAssn with lobbying power. AI has a tougher mission, but could learn from the crypto SV<>DC playbook.

Investor accreditation roadblocks to retail, are arbitrary and are being re-evaluated. Every day americans should be able to pass an investor literacy test, not some arbitrary net worth # to access private markets and funds. The SEC can change rules via rule making. But that can be reversed in a subsequent administrations. That’s why passing laws like Genius and bills like Clarity are the best outcome
