Woofun AI reports that UK tax authority HMRC has recovered over £8 million through settlements with hundreds of cryptocurrency investors following a three-year enforcement campaign. Data obtained via Freedom of Information requests reveals that 502 individuals entered disclosure agreements for unpaid taxes within the last two years. During the 2024/25 tax year, 280 investors settled for a combined £3.5 million. In the subsequent 2025/26 period, the number of settlements decreased to 222, yet the total revenue collected rose to approximately £4.8 million.
