bullisha lot of the discourse around $EMBER over the past 48 hours has been completely overshadowed by FUD after i announced my purchase
so let me clear that up first:
1. 'there's a 50%+ Bubblemaps cluster'
untrue and already debunked by Bubblemaps themselves
2. 'Meteora isn't supporting this'
i erroneously said it was launched by Meteora when what i should have said was that it was the main Meteora launchpad
this got amplified after the dev publicly called out Meteora, but that has now been resolved
Meteora's ecosystem page has acknowledged Ember and they've now featured it on their ecosystem launchpads page
but here's the part a lot of people don't know:
i actually saw $EMBER around $3m market cap
and ignored it
for an entire day
then i came back and started slamming size from around $7m all the way up to $20m
so why would i buy something after it had already done multiple X?
three reasons:
1 — i took a deeper look at the tech
and realized Ember isn't just another launchpad fork:
- you can pair launches with SOL, USDC or 150+ tokenized stocks
- it's the main Meteora launchpad and uses their Dynamic Bonding Curve tech. nothing Meteora-related has gained this much traction in ages, and Meteora is one of the biggest brands on Solana
- users also have significant flexibility over what happens to token tax: it can go to holders, burns, SuperLotto, the token team, etc
- their Daily Jackpots feature is also genuinely unique. as far as i'm aware, they're basically the only launchpad doing this
- then there's the DAO functionality i.e. token holders can influence what happens to a token after launch: for example, they can vote to change buyback/burn into rewards, or rewards into buyback/burn
- ^^ i stand corrected if i'm wrong, but i believe Ember is currently the ONLY launchpad in the space with this DAO functionality
so no
Ember isn't just another launchpad fork
it could potentially be one of the most innovative launchpads we've seen recently
2 — i looked at the data
$EMBER launched just 3 days ago
and already has:
- $51.7m volume
- $561k in fees
- 2,041 coins launched
- 41,800+ unique holders
- 149,000+ Solana transactions
and a noticeable amount of that traction happened BEFORE i bought or talked about it
this is actually why i changed my mind
i saw Ember on day one around $3m and dismissed it
then i watched the data explode on day two
and realized i had potentially been looking at something much more interesting than i initially thought
so i bought
at several X the price i first saw it at
this is exactly how i traded $PONS
i saw PONS below $1m market cap
ignored it for an entire day
then bought around $4m
and started hardcore shilling it in the trenches and on fomo
many responded by dismissing it and suggesting it will die because 'it has no runners' and 'there's no traction'
i disagreed
because i wasn't looking at whether other tokens were running (yet)
i was looking at the DATA
PONS had more traction than any of the new launchpads trying to fill the void after Noxa quit on Robinhood Chain
i have held it through almost a 25,000% run over 2 months
and i'm STILL holding because i believe it's headed for multi-billions
that trade taught me something important
if you're judging a 3-day-old launchpad primarily by how many 'runners' it has, you're midcurving the trade
you're looking at the scoreboard
instead of looking at what is actually happening underneath
3 — i reject the idea that Solana can only have ONE winning launchpad
this entire narrative that 'there can only be one winning launchpad on Solana' is nonsense
and frankly, it's antithetical to crypto
Robinhood Chain has multiple winning launchpads
BNB Chain has multiple winning launchpads
Solana has dominated the trenches for far longer than either of them
why would it suddenly be impossible for another launchpad to emerge?
and i'm not going to trade based on consensus!
my biggest trades have generally come from identifying something BEFORE the market agrees with me
not after
because by the time everyone agrees
the asymmetric upside is usually gone
that's exactly what happened with PONS
and that's exactly what i'm looking for with $EMBER
this is a trade for me
i have zero relationship with the team
i cannot control what the dev does
and this is obviously NOT financial advice
i reserve the right to execute this trade however i want, whenever i want, without having to explain myself to anyone
but after 48 hours of CT attacking and fudding me over this position
i thought it was important to finally explain why i bought
i didn't buy $EMBER because someone told me to
i didn't buy because it was consensus
and i certainly didn't buy because i needed another launchpad bag
i bought because i initially ignored it at $3m
then watched the data explode
then dug deeper into the tech
then realized i might have been looking at something the market hadn't fully priced in yet
and THAT is exactly the type of opportunity i'm always looking for
i.e. getting positioned before consensus
not after
