Pay taxes on what you earn. Get rid of loop holes. Raise taxes on the richest, back to the pre 2017 levels. The economy grew just fine back then.

Paying taxes on what you haven't earned, whether on net worth or unrealized capital gains is just plain stupid.

Not one proponenent I have spoken to has done a multi year behavioral analysis. Meaning, how will the behavior of those being taxed on net worth or unrealized gains change.

And it will change. To the detriment of the economy and workers.
