SOON Restores Mainnet RPC After Security Review Confirmed No User Asset Loss

SOON confirms July 12 incident stemmed from off-chain misconfiguration with no protocol or user fund impact. Mainnet RPC and block production are now fully restored.

Woofun AI reports that Solana Optimistic Network (SOON) concluded its security incident review, confirming the July 12 event did not compromise the protocol, sequencer, or user assets. The issue originated from an off-chain operational environment where an attacker exploited a misconfigured service and insufficient access controls to penetrate internal systems, as identified by BlockSec.

Following the temporary suspension of services including NFT minting and withdrawals, SOON has restored full functionality. NFT minting and token claiming resumed on July 21, while mainnet RPC and block production were restored on July 27, returning the network to normal operation.
